Shalane grew up in Bend, Oregon and began her musical journey with childhood performances and a touring youth choir. She received classical training, belted power ballads at talent shows, the National Anthem for games and her high school graduation. After high school, she headed to Seattle's Cornish College of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor's in jazz vocal performance in 2010.
Post-grad life saw her performing with "The Cumbieros" and rocking casino stages with a cover band, while still singing jazz. Since planting roots in Austin in 2021, she's been a fixture on the local scene with residency gigs, grateful to play with many local musicians and also backing up original artists.
Shalane thrives on connecting with her audience through songs that resonate deeply with her own life experiences. Experience a captivating blend of romance and upbeat energy, delivered with her signature sultry style.
