Starting in May of 2020, the Austin Jazz Society collaborated with Monks Jazz to provide performance opportunities for local jazz musicians affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.  These performances initially were streamed only but eventually incorporated in-studio audiences.  Project Safety Net included 54 performances. Here is a selection of several groups that represent the variety and diversity of some of the best jazz Austin has to offer.  Enjoy!
