Annual Fees & Benefits (2024)

 

 

Founder Member - $150/yr
  • No entry fee to monthly Chez Zee AJS events
  • All benefits of Regular Membership +
  • May bring guests at regular membership rates
  • $15 Adult / $10 Student
  • May gift attendance to another person when you are not available to attend
 

Student / Musician Member - $25/yr
  • Student memberships are available for anyone attending schools or universities in the Austin area. Please provide student identification.
  • Musician memberships are available for professional jazz musicians, as an acknowledgement of the contribution they make to the art form.
  • Discounted tickets to monthly Chez Zee AJS events - $5 vs. $10 non member student price.
  • Discounted admission to Austin Traditional Jazz Society events
  • Discounted admission to Jazz at St. James' concert series
 

Regular Single- $60/yr
  • Discounted tickets to monthly Chez Zee AJS events - $15 vs. $25 non member price
  • Discounted admission to Austin Traditional Jazz Society events
  • Discounted admission to Jazz at St. James' concert series
 

Regular Couple- $90/yr
  • Same as Regular Single for two designated people
  • Discounted tickets to monthly Chez Zee AJS events - $15 vs. $25 non member price
  • Discounted admission to Austin Traditional Jazz Society events
  • Discounted admission to Jazz at St. James' concert series

Can I change my membership type when I renew my membership?

Yes, you can. Simply select the new membership type when you are renewing.  


(Note: You can only do this at renewal time via the website. However, if you want to upgrade your membership before renewal time, please contact the membership committee and they will work with you to accommodate your request.)

Yes, after you provide your information (primary membership) you will be asked if you would like to add a secondary membership.  If you decide to add a secondary membership later, please contact the membership committee.

Can I downgrade my membership and receive a refund?
Can I downgrade my membership and receive a refund?

No. A membership is good for 10 events within a 12 month period from the time you purchase the membership.  There will be no refunds.  You can gift a registered event to someone else.

  • Make payment at monthly concert
  • Use the PayPal link, which also allows for a non-PayPal credit card payment

Please show your ATJS membership card at the check-in table and they will extend you a discount.

How will I be notified when it is time to renew my membership?

You will receive emails starting 30 days before your membership expires prompting you to renew.

What happens if I forget to renew or decide not to renew?
What happens if I forget to renew or decide not to renew?

After 15 days beyond your renewal date, you will still be able to log in and renew your membership.  However, you will not be able to register for an event and receive the membership rate.  If you decide not to renew, your membership will expire, and your membership information will be deleted.  If you decide to become a member later, you will have to sign up as a new member.  You will be able to register for an event as a nonmember and pay the nonmember event charge.
