Located on the north edge of the UT campus, Eastwoods Park was the original home of Austin’s celebrated Eeyore’s Birthday festival. Pursuant to a bequest in the will of William Kirchner, the Austin Jazz Society maintains a grove of trees planted in memory of Kirchner, as well as the early pioneers of Austin’s jazz community.
