Also, we have a 6-year-old child... will there be any kid "activities" or should we pack the checkerboard and frisbee? And lastly we're new to the area... is this hillside "lawn" seating? If so, is it little-red-wagon friendly (have kids, gotta carry "stuff") from the parking lot? -A Psyched about a jazz fest! Can’t wait. Just before he left for Austin, I hosted a farewell concert for him featuring Sandy and those who knew him which lasted 12 hours. It was on the island of St. John at The Purple Line Company. I have photos and recordings and you can view a few of them on myspace (john shaffer). I know it has been awhile since he passed, but he was a fine musician and my friend.
